About the product

Fire for cooking where there is no electricity or gas. Cadabros One is a folding rocket stove made of 3 mm steel that turns a handful of sticks into a focused, hot flame right under your pot. It goes together in a minute, without screws or tools, and packs away flat when you are done.

What sets it apart

14 laser-cut parts from 3 mm steel plate. Fitted so precisely that they press together and stay rigid even after hundreds of assemblies.
4 mm hotplate included. A stable base for a pan, pot or cauldron.
Rocket combustion. The vertical channel creates a strong draught, so wood burns cleanly, with little smoke and low fuel consumption.
Large combustion chamber. Takes logs, not just twigs, and gives steady, long-lasting heat.
A finish built to last. Heat-resistant paint in matt black, rated to 900°C, and steel carrying handles.

Where it belongs

At camp and at the allotment, in the garden for cauldron cooking, next to the camper van as an outdoor kitchen, and at home as a backup source of heat and cooking when the power or gas fails. The stove is intended for outdoor use only.

Can a stove be used in an enclosed space?

No – the oven is designed for outdoor use only

Does the oven run on pellets?

This model is designed for burning wood. If you would like to burn pellets, see our pellet torch.

How to store a Cadabros rocket stove?

After cooling, the oven should be cleaned of ash and soot, and then stored in a dry, airy place.
If you keep it outdoors – avoid direct contact with moisture and rain.

Is the stove smoking?

No. Our oven has been designed to minimise smoke production – all elements fit together perfectly, without unnecessary gaps.

Thanks to the strong draft, combustion is clean and efficient, and mainly fiery flame, not smoke, comes out of the chamber.

Is the oven reusable?

Yes. The Cadabros stove is designed for years of use.
Made from laser-cut 3 mm steel, it resists high temperatures and deformation.
It can be assembled and taken apart hundreds of times without loosening or losing stability.
With proper use and storage it will serve you for many seasons, whatever the conditions.

How quickly can I boil water on a Cadabros stove?

Thanks to its rocket stove design, the stove reaches a very high temperature in a short time.
Once lit, a strong draught directs the flame straight under the pot, which speeds up cooking considerably.

In practice, we boil 1 litre of water in a few minutes, though this depends on the type of wood, wind, ambient temperature and the pot.
